HELP!!!!

Ok...so since today is a day off from school for my son I figured skip the gym today, but I looked up the week 3, day 1 exercises and though I had glanced through some of the workouts before signing up I didn't really think about them. Anyhow, I knew we were going to 5 days this week, but I wasn't exepecting some of the exercises that were added this week! I have to admit, when I am at the gym I am a little bit apprehensive about doing some of the exercises, but I have fought myself not to wimp out (well, those narrow pushups flipped me out a bit the first day)...until now. There are walking lunges with a barbell coming this week. I would absolutely love to do these, but even though I belong to the YMCA and it is huge, there is definitely no good place to do these in the weight room! Any suggestions!? I will be tripping over stuff and people to even attempt these! I might have to omit them and think of something else to do. Thanks for any suggestions!

    I see people doing these all the time walking around the 'indoor track' at my ymca. I don't think you have to stay in the weight section with a set of dumbbells, if you go when there is a break in the classroom see about being in there for the 3 minutes it will take to walk them out :wink:

    If you watch the bb.com video they actually do them in place. I did my in place today because unless I do them at the front entrance of my gym there is no pathway!

    I do all my exercises in place. I am having a tough time with the new exercises also because I didnt realize it changed every 2 weeks (oops!) these exercises are a lot more complex to do at home. Im sooo sore again today!

    I actually did mine in place as well since it was with the barbell and not dumbbells... I see people actually walking with the dumbbells. I like the change in the exercises because I don't want to get bored with what we are doing. I thankfully looked ahead at the end of last week.... week 3 and week 4 are the same set of "new' exercises :wink:

    I am glad I read this! I didn't realize we go from working out 4 days a week to 5 days a week next week! I need to pay attention lol.
