    I take it this was a new sitcom?

    It's always amazed me how shows get pulled in the US. In the UK we don't make 22-episode seasons, usually 6 or so, and they will all get shown even if it stinks. Sometimes if a show is a howler, it might get shunted to a later time-slot, but I've never seen anything axed.

    yeah. new sitcom. previews were god aweful, and caused quite a stir in the LGBT community, especially amongst the trans community. Basically a remake of the 70s "bosom buddies" but tacky as all get up.
    US is big on their ratings, and their networks, so if a show doesn't do well at all, they wont even go past pilot some times.
