Day 5 - Introducing Grapefruit as My Morning Snack :)

Other than my major mess up last night, where I ate a bunch of serious garbage, this week is going good. :) A lot of veggies were on sale in bulk at Stop & Shop this week and so I have lots of cukes, tomatoes, grapefruits...etc. I remembered to bring a grapefruit to work with me and will have it as my morning snack in a bit. Salad with boars head sliced turkey on it for lunch with a sweet potato again today. Love sweet potatoes and so healthy - just wash it, poke some holes, and 5 minutes in the micro and vwala!

How's everyone doing planning out the day in advance?

I made my own lunch today as wifey was sleeping...

a pulled chicken black bean chili
    banana
    pear
    apple

I think I'm in tune with my herbivorish self today.

BTW.. no grapefruit for me... conflicts with my meds.

I actually planned today's food last night and put it into MFP to see where i would end up, since its a rest day for me. A few veggies in my egg muffin and "fruit" in my yogurt for breakfast. Have salad, split pea soup and a pear for lunch. Dinner will have cole slaw, and I will probably cut up a melon for dessert...there's my 5 servings. Woo hooo!
