Great Topic!!!
I'll trawl through my playlist and list up my tunes, however they are split into three playlists depending on the mood and/or style of workout (speed vs power).
Power Playlist - this playlist is mainly Hip/Hop and Gangsta rap. I find the slower repetitive beat (and aggressive lyrics) helps me find the right rhythm for a power routine.
Speed Playlist - this playlist is Dance music in the main, David Guetta and Prodigy etc. The high BPM provides an excellent pace for a speed routine.
Rock Playlist - dont tend to use this as much, but sometimes when I'm mucking around and practicing form I'll put on my rock playlist for fun more than any rhythmic needs.
Not sure everyone elses opinion, but for me, rhythm is key in boxing as finding the right rhythm supports instinct, Ive noticed this when throwing combos in that it's easier using rhythm to determine the next punch than it is to count or remember the next punch.0 -
Looking forward to your tune selection. Mine plays about 63 minutes and gives me time to warm up an cool down.0

Warning: Not always the tamest of lyrics on that playlist! But the perfect amount of repetition and aggression for a power session on the bag.0

Great topic! Yes, I agree that rhythm is key. Since I go to a boxing club, they play the music. Majority of the time it is hip hop which I love. I find myself punching and kicking to the beats. Plus, it makes you want to hit hard...(right now I can't think of any songs..6:30am) I will pay attention tonight to the songs and let u know what they are tmw...0
