What do you guys think of the up coming live action version of Akira coming out soon? first off i think they should have stuck with japanese actors instead of hiring americans, i fear it will be as bad as dragball evolution (pissed me off cause im a huge DB fan).

    If I remember correctly, I had read up on what it would be like through an article on Cracked. It sounds incredibly bad. Like.. That DBZ Evolution movie bad.. like.. an execution to the eyes waiting to happen. They changed the plot line significantly, and then decided to throw in Americans for what I assume is to make us feel some kind of connection with the characters. Lemme see if I can find the link..I'm not sure if most of this is sarcasm or what, buuuuut..

    I love the original.

    I think the american made live action version will lose all it's meaning. Sad. =(

    Why is it that as soon as non-Japanese Actors act as Japanese characters things are instantly ruined? XD

    1988 the movie was completely ground breaking. 2012 is way past its prime to being remade into a Live-Action. There better calling it something else.
