my dad would tell me this old adage a lot. usually when i was impeding his movement in someway. It got me thinking, what kind of person am i, a leader, a follower or not in the way. i'm a get out of the way kind of person. i've been both a leader and a follower, and did a good job with each, but never really liked it.

so i choose to get the f*** out of the way and do my own thing. what about you?

Well, I am not a follower! Thats all I know! I guess I would say leader as I do my own thing and other s may agree with it and come along!

    Interesting question!

I get out of the way, observe the rest either following or leading, turn my back and walk away to my peaceful place :)

I do a little bit of all three.

I know I have exceptional leadership qualities, but, they only come out in crisis situations or when
another leader is not around to take the reins. However, I have no qualms with a submissive role
where I am the one being instructed. I enjoy helping others & I am, for the most part, able to put
my false personality (ego) aside to assist & take direction. Then again, there are times when I will
become impartial & stand back, observe & just let all around me BE. All of these functions serve
a purpose but I can honestly say I am not sure which fits me best. I am a chameleon, I do what
is best for any given situation. It also greatly depends how comfortable I am around the people.
