Month 1 of SW ToR

After one month what are your guys thougths? How are the storylines for your class please put spoiler alerts in if they apply? Anything that really drives you nuts and you wanna see changed?
Me I love it. The fact that I can pretty much play a single player game with people to talk to is great to me, I have always prefered single player/console games. For right now the level grind (im only 41) doesnt even seem like a grind and I think with each class it will be the same because the story is different for each one. Im an Inquisitor and the storyline Ive played is incredibly epic (i wont say anything more than that if you want to know go play it)
the only thing that is really getting annoying is the travel system. You have to go though 5 or 6 different things just to get off one planet and onto another and to me it always slows the gameplay down sooooooooo much i really wish they would put in a, to use a WoW term, Hearth that would bring you to your ship even if it had a big CD time maybe not as big as the useless emergency fleet pass does but like 3 or 4 hours even.

I love SWTOR. The community is a reward in itself -- you'll get the occasional troll, but haven't run across any overly rude people either. I can play as a single-player and do what I want, without having the pressure of, "Oh I gotta get my credits so I can get my mats so I can make the next three raids....." No pressure to make long raid schedules. I can get to bed at a decent hour. I can enjoy my house and my family. I'm back to gaming without it being overly consuming.
The travel system is rather trite, I totally agree with you. Some of that could use some trimming up. I will say this -- I sure do miss AtlasLootEnhanced....I'm pretty anal-retentive about having matching gear.0 -
I'm taking this game slow - weekends mostly - and really enjoying it. The story lines truly suck me in and I actually find myself anticipating the smart remark my inquisitor will spit out. She is such a smarta$$ LOL!
I agree 100% about the space travel. Yes it's nice to have that 24 hour cooldown button to go to the imperial space station (I think I've used it once), but man... space dock and beam me down. Not land and exit at the starport. I hate running through those starports, elevators, hangars, and finally to my "ship".... then the loading screen lol.
I am a bit bothered by the crafting aspect of the game. I understand how it gets you away from the grind, but good golly miss molly - speed up the crafting timers!! I am a crafter at heart and that part just gives me a sad
Before beta I was convinced that I was not interested in playing this at all. Didn't like the videos of game play, etc. Then I got to go in near the end of beta testing and got hooked on the game play and story lines

i love the crafting actually ive always hated the grind of crafting so its prefect for me lol and merc thats excatly how i feel as well0

I'm taking it slow. One of the major contributing factors that I got as big as I used to be was because of my MMORPG gaming habits. In the past 6-8 hrs a day, 7 days a week was the norm for me.
Currently with STWOR I average 2-4 hrs. of game play per week. I have 2 characters, both level 13. Smuggler and Jedi Consular on the Republic side. I enjoy the single player aspect. I haven't played with groups yet . Of the 2 classes I am defintely digging the Smuggler storyline and dialogue. I play on a PvE RP server and for the most part everyone has been social , helpful and not a douche yet.
I am finding crafting fun. Coming from FFXI it's really easy and not stress inducing. lol0 -
I'm taking it super slow, in fact I started over. The guy I started playing with during early release wanted to go republic, so I was like fine. Well, he got bored and quit 4 weeks in. So I re-rolled Empire on a different server. Sniper. Really diggin' the Imperial Agent story so far.
Will probably make a Sorcerer alt down the road, but I need to make some progress on my main...heh0 -

I have a lower level IA (main is the Inquis), and she also has a great story line so far - I enjoy her.0 -
i love my inquisitors storyline its just super epic i do think alot of the others will pale in comparison but i plan on doing them all at some point in time 0

I didn't renew my sub after the first free month. None of my RL friends wanted to play this game. Maybe if I find a good large solid group of people I may join back in.0

I started off playing a Jedi Consular -Sage but switched to Inquisitor and I have to say that the storyline is in fact epic! Completely agree with you!0 -

Like most on here I am taking it slow with leveling; weekends primarily unless I can squeeze in an hour or two during the week. I will agree and say that the travel system should be revisited, and maybe overhauled down the line. Right now, I'm dealing with taking 2 elevators to get to my ship and whatnot. The storylines for each class are brilliant, and I look forward to experiencing them all. Though not a fan of the rogueish playstyle of the smuggler/agent class, I love the cut scene remarks my guy does. So far my favorite class is the Jedi Consular. i really like the hybrid play styles that each class offers beyond the two tanks of Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior. Don't get me wrong, they're fun as well and I love my Sith Warrior. The light/darkside system is pretty cool and doesn't compel you one way or another. You can totally play a ahole Jedi Knight, or a compassionate Sith Inquisitor who secretly hugs ewoks when no one is looking. I look forward to the future of this game and what BioWare will offer the growing community.0

Enjoying it despite some deficiencies.
The GTN interface is horrible, for instance. I assume they'll improve things as time goes on. For the moment, I'm enjoying all the classes I've played. I think the highest I've gotten is around 32 with my assassin. Operative is pretty fun. Lately I've been enjoying the Jedi Knight's cut scenes more; he'll flirt with anything under the sun apparently.
If I see one more Smuggler named some variant of Malcolm Reynolds though... Oy. I love Firefly as much as the next guy but jeeze.0 -

This is how i'm feeling. I really do love the game and the leveling is great, but my friends won't play so i'm kinda left just meh....it's harder finding a new guild to fit into.0 -

Code-wise, it's still too buggy for me... But it's fun enough it outweighs that.
OP: You can buy 1 hour fleet passes for 1k at the security items vendor.
You would have hated pre-wow mmos (aside from UO) sometimes you had to cooridnate/travel for 30-45 minutes...0 -
Loving it! I really like the social aspect. The rolling the dice to see who's get's to answer the question, just makes it so much fun. It really get's me to play my Class perfectly (Smuggler). Everyone will have heroic Republic answers, and I'll always pick the opposite and get boo'd on teamspeak. But then we all laugh about it.
I'm an GTN *kitten*. I've been selling stuff on it since the beginning.. i'm almost at 1 million credits.. Baalllleerrrr..
But I agree with the other poster who mentioned that the crowd seems to be really mature and not too many trolls.. I really like that. I've had some really helpful random folks give me a hand..0 -

I'm loving the game. Have a 23 Sith Juggernaut (JugJug) and a 23 Sith Sorcerer as well. Sad thing is I didn't even wanna play dark side!
