Hi there!

I have tried the trial videos on YouTube and really like the workout so I am looking into buying one of her DVDs. Which one do you suggest? I would like one that really gives me a good workout "bang for my buck" so to speak. Thanks for your suggestions!

I bought the Walk Slim 5 Really Big Miles today at Costco for $7.99. It is a great one. I was sweating through it. I just finished Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred so I was glad that this video had interval training with the toning band. I highly recommend it.

I second the 5 Really Big Miles. Last time I looked it was on sale at Amazon for $8. Not sure if it still is.

Also there was a QVC special yesterday you may still be able to get in on. It was 3 or 4 of her discs with equipment.

Thanks! I will give the 5 Really Big Miles a try!

I am working my way through the 30 Day Shred right now myself and think this will be a great addition to those days when I just can't face the Shred for one reason or another.

    Appreciate your help! :)

Generic reply to a really good topic question:

Walk Slim 5 Really Big Miles is a great place for anyone to start "walking" with Leslie. This DVD is nicely chaptered, even the warm up & cool down are separate chapters. You can mix & match sections, for as much time as you have.

"Walk at Home" DVDs are usually chaptered at the miles. These are workouts made for DVD. This allows you to "skip" to the next mile with your remote control. Some have "music only" options. Check collagevideo.com, they have lots of info.

Walk Away the Pounds DVDs (VHS) - these are made for VHS & not chaptered. There are some really good compliations here.

Best compilation: Walk Away the Pounds - Fat Burning Miles. This has 4 workouts. Walk Strong is a TRUE circuit workout. You walk, then stop to pick up heavier hand weights. You do lunges, squats and upper body work. My heart rate stays up the whole time. This is really well designed. Walk & Jog is really good - there are 4 "boosts" during this walk. Walk & Kick has some different moves (for Leslie). This is a nice change of pace.
