Decent Bread?

Has anyone found any gluten free bread that tastes nice?
I've tried a few ready sliced loaves, the Warbuton brown load tends to go really hard when toasted (maybe its better if its defrosted fully first?) .. Genius white loaf is kind of like eating air/straw.. not very filling.
The nicest I've found that I like taste of cos they taste similar to warbutons oven bottomed muffins or crumpets is called Antoinette Savill and she does either a small loaf (and i mean SMALL!) that you have to slice before you freeze it, or a pack of breadcakes (4 rice & maize rolls) which are quite nice even untoasted as a sandwich.
Maybe I just need to defrost the sliced bread first before toasting it, its just I used to stick regular sliced bread straight from freezer into toaster and it was fine, obviously the breadcakes have to be defrosted before you can cut them in half! .. but they're lovely with poached egg on each half or scrambled egg.
I havent tried the Livwell sliced loaf yet but I can't believe it can taste any worse than the Genius or Warbutons bread, especially as their pitta bread's arent too bad and make lovely healthy kebabs!
Anyone else got any recommendations?

My son likes Udi's without toasting. I can't handle rice, so I make my own buckwheat buns.

My absolute favorite is Udi's Millet Chia bread. Rudi's bread is okay, too (that's what I buy when Udi's is sold out at the local gluten free market).0

I've never heard of Udi and Rudi's are these in US?0

I don't care for any of the ready made gluten free breads. I can handle Udi's or Rudi's if it is toasted. My favorite is Pamela's but you have to make it but isn't hard at all. Just takes some time but it's more like regular bread. Since I'm calorie watching I stay away from it all but I do love bread. Pamela's has some other great products, too. I order mine from Vitacost. I don't have any place close to buy from.0

Udi's is the best bread I have found. It reminds me of my Grandmother's homemade bread.....If you have a Kroger's grocery store near you, the have the whole line of Udi's products...Near the bakery section.. If you have a health food store near you, they might carry it or they can order it for you....Look in the freezer section at your local store. It might be there....I wouldn't order it online because they charge a lot to ship it....0

Udi's is made in Denver, CO, where I recently moved from. It's the best. Now that I am in Cali, the Rudi's seems to taste a little fresher. Out of the Breadbox (based in CO Springs, too) also makes awesome gluten free (and vegan!) breads. I try to make my own as much as possible, and the Glutino brand Gluten Free Pantry has been my favorite ready mix. Bob's Red Mill also makes a good one.0

I am from South Africa and here you struggling to get the ready made gluten breads. I've tried a lot of baking ones myself and come across the Glutagon White Bread mix that's amazing. My husband can't stop eating it. It's easy to bake and not even much ingredients. Luckily we are only wheat and gluten free so I can add the milk, egg and sugar option to enrich the flavour. Try it, it is fantastic!0

My absolute favorite is Udi's Millet Chia bread. Rudi's bread is okay, too (that's what I buy when Udi's is sold out at the local gluten free market).

I have a gluten and white rice intolerance, so my bread selection is limited. My favorite breads are from Deland's. I love their Millet Banana and Walnut bread and also their Garlic and Basil bread. I keep the breads frozen, so I toast it every time I want a slice. If I don't want to have "toast", I just lightly heat the bread in the toaster. Deland's breads are the closet to gluten bread that I've tasted so far. They also make a great hamburger bun. My husband does not like any of my gluten free breads/bagels/buns, loves Delands and prefers the Deland's hamburger buns over gluten ones.

I buy Udis at whole foods or sprouts... My Kroger and Walmarts don't carry it here.0

I think Udi's is dry and bland. I like Rudi's multigrain (only) but my very favorite is the handmade one from our local gf bakery. It's just miles above any of the frozen breads. Udi's cinnamon rolls were gross to me too- I think I may just not like their mix. Too much rice perhaps.0
