Have you tried it? How do you feel about it? Is it easy to prepare? I'm seeing so many healthy recipes that feature it, but I'm shy to try new things.

Being from KY and having a grandmother from the "country" I have had the opportunity to eat Kale. It is typically prepared like any other type f "cooked greens" to me Kale is best prepared with onion, a ham hock, salt and pepper and then served with a dab of vinegar to taste. BUT thats the way I am used to it being served....its one of my favorite "go to" foods. You can steam it as well. I tried eating it raw in salads like I do baby spinach, however it is firmer and a bit too bitter for my liking in salad, but I know people who eat it that way to. Its really good in soups.....basically anywhere you can use "greens" ie: spinach, collard you can use Kale and its VERY good for you!
Hope that helps a little! ;-)0 -
Thanks very much! I love spinach, but can't stand most "greens" so I think I'm going to hold off on trying this one!0
