I do not know if its because I am loosing the body clutter that I want my home clutter gone too or what. I have been really motivated to not just pick up and vacuum but litterally clean everything. I rearranged my livingroom as an excuse to super clean it. I am not done yet but I have been vacuuming shampooing wiping everything down including picture frames, heating ducts, window seals, DVD covers, the entire entertainment center since I moved it even cords got wiped down.

Next I think will be dining room so no more excuses to eat in the living room. we will see when I get living room finished. I started doing this to bathroom last week and never finished so I need to finish it too. My rusty door knob was removed derusted and painted and has not been put back on because i want to sand the door and repaint it.

Wow!! You are really getting going! Nice job! I know I need to, as the clutter is driving me nuts, also. I find that my stress level is equal to my clutter level, LOL. I am hoping that I can get with the program, so to speak, and improve my living space as well!!

I found Pinterest to have lots of cleaning ideas and tips. Also I always recommend to everyone to at least try Fly lady F.L.Y. = Finally Loving Yourself. She also within the last couple of years started to a segment on Body Clutter but I never followed that. It really helped me because I am ADHD and my child too I think might husband might be as well but he is also a hoarder ( he says he is not for his sake lets say Pack rat. To prove he was not a hoarder last night he cleaned out both freezers :P) Fly lady has cleaning checklist so you can see your progress and how much you accomplished. I also found it helps when hubby asked what you did all day you can show him each and every step. With men I found if you say I cleaned the living room it sounds like you accomplished 1 thing but if you say.. I picked up, put items away, gathered the garbage, swept the floor then vacuumed ( in my house you have to sweep before vacuuming to get up the big items its made my vacuum last for 10+ years now)I dusted, put movies back into original cases, cleaned out under couch cushions ETC, it sounds like you did A LOT! She has a method for extreme clutter for those who have a dirty little secret you can have your home back into some order in a year. Whats great about it is its 1-2 15 minute segments so you do not get burnt out and it can never be too much.Your first day her only request is you clean the sink before going to bed.

My tip is to take a pictures of the room you are going to clean. Look at it from a strangers eyes, what would you change and how. Keep taking pics then you can see progress and you will always feel what you want to make your home feel like a temple.
