What was said to Rick at the end of Season 1.

Ok, so I have watched season 1 twice now. I keep hearing references to something that the guy in the CDC said to Rick. I can't for the life of me remember what it was. I remember that the guy whispered something in Rick's ear, but I wasn't aware that we knew what it was. Is this what everyone keeps referencing? And if not, what was told to Rick? Thanks!

    He whispered it, but it was never revealed. I always assumed he told Rick that Lori was pregnant. I've read the comics so I knew that was in store, but the way season 2 has played out so far, Rick hasn't mentioned the doctor at all.

    I thought the doc told him Lori was pregnant...but Rick seemed so surprised when he found out Lori actually was, that now I'm not so sure.

    I am sure that he didn't tell Rick that Lori was pregnant. I have seen and read a lot of cast and crew interviews and they are all elusive about what was said. Andrew Lincoln (Rick) recently said that only he and a few people on the crew know, and he won't even tell his wife!!

    I read this morning that Andrew Lincoln recently promised that what Dr. Jenner told him will be revealed by the end of the season. One theory is that he told him it doesn't matter how you die (bit by a zombie or not) you will come back as a zombie, so basically everyone is already infected. I don't really think that's big enough of a secret to hype up though.

    He told Rick about Fort Benning or whatever that place is called...you know where they were heading to at the beginning of season 2
