Too many carbs?

I've got the MFP setting at 1200 net calories. Works for me as far as hunger goes. If I work out, I eat most of eat back.

Anyway, I am wondering if I am eating too many carbs? I am always over but below on protein.

Should I try to change or is it not so much to make a difference?

  • If you're running over on your carb count, figure out which protein you can add to balance your meal. I like avocado and quinoa...but there are plenty of choices. I find pinto beans , avocado, and pico de gallo an especially fun mix. Vary it up.

    Good idea! I have also just read on another thread that someone else (nayima) adds lentils to her rice to bulk it up... Yay more protein and less carbs :)
