I have been stressing & searching the internet almost daily lately concerning how many calories to eat, the battle about eating below/above bmr & everything else.....I'm so glad I came across the Olivia method. It makes so much more sense to me, very logical, and have set my profile to this method as of today! :) Thanks for putting this info on here.

Yes, I really like it too! It is the way you look at things that make such a big difference. When I knew I had X amount of calories to eat I would eat them whether I was hungry or not. Now that my goal is having the deficit be 500-1000 and just making sure I eat my BMR, I focus more on having a nice deficit. Not sure if this makes sense but this really helps me from just eating for the sake of eating!

I love it too!!! I have been more successful at my losing with it too! I think it is the fact that u don't have to see a red (negative) number if you go over ur goal for the day. It's a mind trick! Yay Olivia!! I have been explaining this method to so many people!!! Love it!!! 

me too... I have been stacked to the last pounds and couldn't move the scale down. I work out 4 times per week (I'm trying to be a long distance runner) and do some weight lifting 2 times per week. Also I have Hashimoto but my hypothyroid is under control with meds.

I began this method about 10 days ago. I was also sick so couldnt exercise, and kept an average deficit about 300 cals daily.... and today... MAGIC...
    -2 POUNDS!!!!!
    I couldn;t believe it.

It is really helpful to know that I can still eat and lose. Even when someone is so close to the goals he/she set.
    Thanks....
