How do you track your progress??

It seems to be a question that pops up in everyone's mind so I'm wondering how do you track your progress? Personally, I use the accupedo app. on my Android phone as a pedometer and I will get myself a map, either a picture or a drawing, or why not,a poster, and stick it to my bedroom wall. Then I will just draw my way and the mileposts. hihi.
What's your way of doing it??

I use gmap-pedometer.com after my walk/run to determine my distance. It takes a little time to draw out your course, but it always seems pretty accurate.
As for mapping my progress from Bag End, I went to http://3rin.gs, zoomed in to a section from Hobbiton to Bree and took a screen shot. I'll likely print it off and then use push pins. Once I reach Bree, I'll take a screen shot of Bree to Weathertop and so on.0 -
I track weekly using the calculations from the original forum thread.
each mile = so many calories burned.
Men--150 calories burned = 1 mile
Women--120 calories burned = 1 mile
I walk a few times a week and use those real miles and then calculate calories burned from the rest of my workouts during the week.0 -
