March Daily Exercise? What did you accomplish

Well, it's not a bad idea. We did it before, so why not. Let's keep track of our exercise with the start of a new month, March! Post daily.

    I have got in 30 minutes so far. We got in quite the snow storm this morning.

    For March 1st, didn't get in anything aerobic, but I did work on Core and arms...got in 50 crunches, 20 push-ups, held the plank for 63 seconds, tri-ceps, bi-ceps curls. Well, it's a good starting place for me. Now I know how to measure the increase.
  • I'm getting over some injuries..I've been taking it easy. I walked a total of 3 miles on March 1st (around my hood with the dog).

    It's cold and rainy out today..dunno what I'll do. I may try to run later. Not sure...I have a sunburn on my inner knee/thigh area thanks to all the sun yesterday, a nice picnic, a pair of shorts, and NO SUN BLOCK!

    Sunburn! wish it was warm enough here. We had quite the snow today and it just dawned on me a bit ago that I never got my exercised worked in. Gee.... I am off to bed here soon to hopefully sleep good.

    March 2nd, got in 50 minutes on the treadmill at lunch time. Had another business obligation after work, so that was it.

    March 3rd, had to hit the library, but got in 50 minutes on the treadmill at home. It's going to be tough hitting the gym on Saturdays for a bit.

    March 4th, nothing exercise wise.

    March 5th was a great day. Got in 45 minutes on the treadmill during lunch. Then 90 minute Spin Class after work. Boy, did I sleep deep Monday night.:smile:

    May 6th, got in 50 minutes on the treadmill during lunch.

    May 7th, I know already, nothing. Have a meeting at work, which leaves no lunchtime for the gym, and after work have a community meeting.

    4th: 22 minutes
    5th: 33 minutes
    7th: 30 minutes
    8th: 20 minutes
  • 9th: got in a 35 min run, and then hit a nature center with a friend and went on an hour long hike up and down some mega hills. It was GREAT!!! (My quads are SORE today!!)

    So, uh.. 95 mins Friday :)

    March 8th was fantastic! Got in 30 minutes on the AMT and 25 on the treadmill at lunch. After work got in 90 Spin/Boot Camp class and 30 minutes on the treadmill.

    March 9th, nothing. Had crisis that kept me in the office at lunch, but got a salad and ate at my desk while working. After work had volunteer commitments.

    9th about ten minutes of pushing swing at the park
    10th nothing.
  • 10th - nothing really. We were moving furniture most of the day. We found a great deal on a bunk/futon bed for my daughter, so we moved her old bed out & put that one up. That ate up most of my day!

    11th - 20 minute walk w/ hubby through the neighborhood, and then 30 minutes on the elliptical at the YMCA

    March 10th, nothing
    March 11th, nothing
    March 12th, I already know, nothing.

    This stops tomorrow. I'm getting out at lunch if it kills me.
  • 12th - 48 minutes (3 min warm up walk, 40 minute run up hills, 5 min cool down walk)

    Still getting used to this posting differently. Long trails. I know there has to be a way to see recent posts or unread posts.

    Anyway, for Tuesday, March 13th, got in 50 minutes on the treadmill during lunch.
  • You could always start a new post for every day like we did on the other board.

    Today was a long run day for me...broken down like:

    10 min walk
    50 min run
    10 min walk
    6 - 100 meter sprints (sprint for 100 meters, jog for 100 - repeat)
    3 min cool down walk

    Totaled up to 5.77 miles :)

    Okay, guess I'll post a new one each day.

    Meanwhile for March 14th, got in 40 minutes of fast walk/jog. I'm trying.

    Finally got on the treadmill after work. Only got in 50 minutes, I've not been very good this month in the exercise realm, but I'm going to try to finish strong.

    Boy, I need a vacation.

    Anyway, got in 60 minutes on the treadmill last night after work and today during lunch got in 50. This has been a horrible month.
