This talk about conventions, costumes, movies, television, books, science, and all things geek has started me thinking about achieving new non scale victories. I have made quite a few costumes over the years and since I made then, even when I got to big to wear them I couldn't get of them. So I have decided to measure my successes by which costume I can fit into. It will be a backward timeline back the oldest costume I have.

First on the list was a Star Trek uniform (made in 2010). It fits again!
Next up - White Queen (X-Men)
Barbarella
Shahna (Star Trek TOS, episode The Gamester of Triskelion
Poison Ivy (Batman)
Star Fleet Academy Cheerleader Uniform
Black Widow (Avengers)
Phoenix (X-Men)

Maybe someday, if I work very hard and am a bit lucky, I'll fit into my Princess Leia metal bikini.

Wish me luck!

I had Princess Leia on my list of future costumes... but now that I've had a baby I'm not sure it will work for me! I was pregnant Padme Amidala though! That was fun!

I agree, very cool goals! I would like to do some costumes in the future. I've only done Shaak Ti from Star Wars. I have a slew I would like to do once thin enough.

    Harley Quinn Nurse
Princess Leia New Hope ceremonial gown
    Sith (one that I designed)
    Jedi (that I designed)
    Kaylee from Serenity

among others. These are a start.
