I can not find a clear-cut answer on this. I do 30 days straight through because that's what I've heard and read, but some people have different opinions. Sorry I'm not more help0

The only way I'm taking a rest day is if I'm in the hospital! I am so determined right now! Let's do this ladies!0

I am a teacher and have been doing it in my classroom after school with another teacher. We are not doing it on the weekends. I thought it might be tough after two days off, but we got right back into it with no problem.0

OK - 1 intended rest day turned into 2... hmmm.... BUT I did do Level 2 Day 1 Today. I am glad I took the break my knees would have killed me.
But It is really my wrist hurting. I wonder how to do the plank pose without the wrist hurting so bad...0 -
RE: Wrists and plank pose.
My pi/yo instructor has suggested placing a folded towel/yoga mat under your hands to help cushion your wrists. She has also said that dropping to your elbows is a good modification for those with wrist problems.0 -

I'm with you on this one....
However I understand why one would take a break....especially the teachers. This is my 1st Jillian Michaels DVD. I ended up ordering a few more and after watching them I found 30DS is a good start to be successful in the rest of her later videos.0
