Taking the plunge!

After years of complaining to myself about not being healthy enough for pregnancy, I have finally decided to do something about it. I found an ebook put out by the American Pregnancy Association that talks about the things you can do to get pregnant faster. So, I am currently working on cutting out caffeine and smoking. Next week, I will work on processed foods. This weekend, I am going to go find a good prenatal vitamin.

I am 35 (and almost a half!), so now is really the time to buckle down and get ready!!

What are you doing to promote your future pregnancy?

Cut out as many stressors as you can in your life - I believe stress greatly impacts your ability to conceive personally! Make sure you are taking folate and folic acid tablets for at least 3 months prior - most good pre natal vitamins should have these in them.

Other than that gentle exercise, sleep all those things that are good for you anyway :)

Smoking definitely as you will need to cut this out during pregnancy anyway!
