Anyone ever try to do a WOD while hungover? I really overdid it last night, which I haven't done in years, and now I'm about to go do a WOD while feeling like hell. Should I expect this to just completely suck, as I do right now, or is just going to be more difficult? Ugh, my body sure did remind me why I don't drink more than a glass of wine or so. I've made sure to hydrate all day at least.

the WOD will help you sweat the alcohol out. hopefully there wont be too much running around.

Well sweating out the toxins should be helpful. It's mostly lifting today. The warmup will either be a 400m run or a 500m row. But the rest is the benchmark WOD "DT", which will consist of 5 rounds for time of (155/100): 12 deadlift, 9 hang power clean, and 6 push jerk.

That shouldnt be too bad. Our WOD today is pretty similar. push press, shoulder press and push jerk combo followed by 100 squats for time.

a couple of guys at my box say that some of their best times have been when they are hungover... just be prepared to smell like stale booze!

Yep, it wasn't too bad at all. The warmup felt way more difficult than usual and I did indeed smell like stale booze. Otherwise, I just ended up needing to go to sleep a lot earlier since the workout used up the little energy I had. It helped that the trainers weren't letting me slow down.
