    I think there used to be.. not sure what it is now. Back in the day it was 500.

    Last month there was a guy who friended me who had over 1000 friends. I think he JUST wanted to hit that number, though, because not long after he defriended all but like 200 of them (including me).

    You can only add friends at a certain rate as well - not sure of the rational behind that though
