Woohoo! Did I mention that I'm SERIOUS about getting ready for summer?!
Seriously, though, I had my monthly water weight gain last week, so that set me up for a big loss this week.
I drink 96-120 ounces of water a day, so I'm good on the weekly challenge. :bigsmile:0 -

Aw thank you!! Some days I feel like I am and other days I feel like a total slacker. I really need to figure out a new routine. I've been at half mast for a little too long.0 -
All I am saying is... PMS can mess with the scale AND your mind. Water weight. Water weight. Water weight.
Joining a gym hopefully next week! Aiming for 3 times a week there and 2 days a week at home stuff. Exciting!0 -

This weeks loss screams TOM water weight! But I'll take it any way that I can
Biggest success: Staying mostly on track with my food choices and ab exercises...and finding a bridesmaid dress for Jersey's wedding!!!
Biggest challenge: Getting enough rest.
This Sunday will be a calorie free day as we are having Jersey and her Mr over for a bbq, complete with a birthday cake and booze for her Mr. Back on track Monday though!

Did NOT want to go to the gym tonight. Friday nights are the hardest. After a hard week at work, I just want to relax and have Mexican and a big marguarita.
I went to the gym anyway. Usually it makes me feel better, but today it didn't. Blah.
Weigh in day is tomorrow, so I'm glad I stuck with the plan despite the "blahs" - hopefully I'll be rewarded in the morning.0 -

Well, I managed to lose this week so I'm super pumped about that. Even if it was only 1.2 I set myself a mini goal to work out 3 days this week and I stuck to that. I'm going to do the same for next week. I did ok with the water challenge, not the greatest, but made an effort to up it. Hopefully I can continue this trend and start seeing some lower numbers0 -
Everyone did EXCELLENT this week!! I weigh in tomorrow, so I hope I can share in the celebrations!!
There is some beautiful weather here so I am taking advantage of outdoor fun. I got a GREAT ride in on my horse and ran with the dog. Funny how exercise makes you feel like a million bucks!0 -

I'm going to throw the chart up in 5 minutes!!
My Weekly Check In:
Starting Weight: 165 lbs
Challenge Goal Weight: 155 lbs
First Week: 164 lbs
Second Week: 161.8 lbs
Third Week: 164.6 lbs
Fourth Week: 163.8 lbs
Fifth Week: 162.8 lbs
Loss This Week: 1.0 lb
Total Challenge Loss: 2.2 lbs
Weight Loss Remaining to Goal: 7.8 lbs
I am kind of ticked at myself. I was back down to 161.8 lbs on Saturday and here I am checking in a pound higher. My sodium intake in out of control. Even if I stay under, I am consuming most of it at one time and then not drinking the water AFTER to flush it out. My weight has been fluctuating like MAD going from 165 to 161 and bouncing to all the numbers inbetween. I posted some good caloric scores this week, so I'm hoping that next week a significant drop shows up, otherwise I may have to re-evaluate my challenge goal... and that would make me really sad. I was hoping to reach my initial end goal of 150 lbs by the end of June, but that is also looking unlikely.
The upside to all of this? I am starting my gym career today, so I will have 2 - 3 days a week of lifting and hopefully 5 - 6 days a week of exercise of some sort. I am pretty happy with my weekend burns. I took advantage of some fabulous weather and walked away with about 900 cal burns both Saturday and Sunday.
Weekly Success: staying under cals, exercising
Weekly Struggle: Sodium. Come on girl, get it together
This Week’s Personal Challenge: Lower sugar intake, lower sodium and kick it HARD at the gym.0
