Trekkies, help me with ideas!

My 11yo daughter wants a Star Trek (original series) themed party for her birthday.
I'm going to use yellow/gold, red, and blue for the plates, cups, napkins, and balloons. The cake is going to be round with orange icing and the USS Enterprise atop it.
For games, we are going to have a "Tribble Toss" (where we will toss the tribbles onto a transporter pad), a matching game where we'll match up different alien race symbols, and pin the communicator badge on Spock.
For food, we'll have Romulan Ale (blue kool-aid)...and besides that, I'm stumped.
If y'all can help me think of Star Trek themed food and some more games, I'd be forever grateful!

Check your local library for this book, The Star Trek Cookbook by: Ethan Phillips It's nothing but Star Trek recipes. Also check out Thinkgeek.com, they have an awesome Enterpise Pizza Cutter! Not to mention, tons of cool Star trek stuff! If nothing else, you may find some really neat ideas.
Also, check with your library and see if they have this book too, Star Trek Paper Universe by:Andrew Pang. It has tons of origami Star trek spaceships to make. If you can't find this book, try looking on google and you tube for some origami patterns. Kids love to make oragami!
Also, when you send out the invititations, be sure to ask each of the kids to wear either a yellow, red or blue shirt. Then it will go with the theme too.
You could always use an object to place on the transporter and have the kids close their eyes and "transport" the item to another area of the room and then have them uncover their eyes and see if they can find where it was transported too.

You can play a game of Borg Tag, where you have one Borg, which will assimilate the other children by attaching a clothespin to their shirts, whereby the newly assimilated Borg Children will assimilate, etc etc... The only way you can un-assimilate your Borg friends is to remove the clothespin without being touched.0 -
Thanks for the book recommendations! We are out on spring break this week--woohoo!--so we'll plan a library trip. I also didn't think to look around on Thinkgeek! Love that site! We are on a low budget, but luckily, I have an 18yo artist daughter who is helping me create things like posters and tribbles.
I'm sure I can find some inspiration for things we could make ourselves at home.

I also saw on a website where they taped white christmas lights to the walls and then put black plastic over them, I'm thinking that you might be able to use some cheapy trashbags, so that you can see the lights through them. Then it would look like space. You could even do that to just one wall and frame it to look like your on the bridge of the Enterprise looking out into space. Maybe put "The Captain's chair" facing it, this chair would be for the birthday girl to sit in while she open presents. Don't forget the Star Trek music too!0

Take a stuffed toy or two and hide them around the house. Then organize the kids into "away teams" to seek out new life and new civilizations! Give them "orders" in the form of clues.0 -

I have to say your daughter is an awesome 11 year old to come up with this idea for a party! How times have changed, a few people at my school found out I liked Star Trek when I was 12 and I got teased mercilessly for weeks! I maintain we are all blazing the trail for making geek cool.
