Hi all,
I'm newly vegan and a little overwhelmed with figuring out vitamins. I'm looking for a daily multi, without iron. Any suggestions? Chewable is a plus
Thanks! :flowerforyou:

I use Pioneer Chewables. I hate swallowing horse pill vitamins! Their website says they are available with or without iron.

I use Gummi King multi. They are for kids but they're fine for grown ups too.0

Deva makes an adult multi that is vegan. Not sure if it comes in a chewable, but I do think it comes in a "mini" (i.e. very small) pill version.0

What exactly makes a vitamin "vegan"?0

The same thing that makes any food product vegan - a complete absence of all animal derived products. (No fish oil, no dairy products, etc..)0

Thanks all! I ended up with a Pioneer multi (chewable w/o iron) and a Veglife calcium-magnesium supplement. So far so good :flowerforyou:
And to the poster above about what makes a vitamin vegan (like the person below her said) - no gelatin (has animal collagen), D3 (from lanolin or sometimes fish oil), "natural flavors" that may be animal-derived, calcium from oysters, etc.0
