I am so excited for General Conference. Part of me can't believe it's that time already. Where have the last few months gone? My kids get excited too because they love listening and writing/coloring in their Conference journals. Afterward we all share what we have learned. And of course, we have special treats during the weekend. I love this family time, a time to step back from the world and just listen to our prophet and the Lord's servants. I hope y'all enjoy it in a few weeks!

    A friend of mine gave a really good idea. she packs the snacks in their emergency backpacks at conference time and each conference she lets them eat the snacks and replaces them...that way they never go bad and the kids have something to look forward to! This year one of my daughters is doing a Knowledge goal for Personal Progress during conference. She already watched the YW portion and took notes and now is preparing for the next 8 hours of conference.

    We usually watch Saturday at home. then on Sunday we go to the church, have lunch with friends and then watch the second session together.
