So far, we have over 12 Northern Arizona residents signed up for the training and the Run for Life. AWESOME!
I hope YOU join us too! What a great way to get in shape as a community. :happy:0 -
This Sunday April 1st is the 1st session for the 11-week Run For Life FREE Training Program. It starts at 7:30am at Fort Tuthill, but if you need to sign a waiver, please arrive a few minutes early. My motto is "Early is on time, on time is LATE!"
Included are directions from Mark Markussen, who will be the training program director, and the person to look for on Sunday. I hope these directions help. If you get lost, give Mark a call at (928) 607-3477. This first session will be a familiarization with Mark and another Race committee member, Marsha McCaleb, your fellow participants, and the program. Bring your waiver filled out and signed if possible (we will have extras), comfortable shoes, active clothing, and a willingness to work and have fun. With the large group we have (Which is AWESOME!), parking could be tight, so please try and carpool with people you may know are coming.
Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me at slilly@northlandhospice.org.
Thanks and see you on Sunday!

Run For Life Training Participant,
We had a pretty decent Easter weekend turnout, thanks to those who could attend! This Sunday, we will be at Peaks View Park, out on the east side of town. Just as a heads up, we will be doing interval training. We hope you can all attend this Sunday at 7:30am!
Here are the directions to Peaks View Park. The park is not listed on google maps but the directions and end point are accurate. The park has a pavilion, a large parking lot and several fields for sporting events. The park is right next to the fire station. It is hard to miss once you are on Kochfield (pronounced coachfield). Thanks!

This week on April 22, will be at Schultz Creek Trail Head (The directions start at our Northland Hospice Office on Switzer Canyon, but you can change to wherever you are!)

Once you are on Schultz Pass Rd. The trail head is about 0.3 miles up on the right side of the road down by the creek.
Thanks all! See you on the trail on Sunday! Should be beautiful! And as always, feel free to invite friends and family to join us!
