I'm home tonight, too, Kate. Cleaned my bedroom carpeting and went for a walk in the cold Wisconsin air. Now I'm vegging watching some HGTV and planning to hit the hay early. (BF and I have kids this weekend so no dates).0

Persuasion is my favorite Austen novel. I've also read it a bunch of times. I'm in love with Wentworth.

I ended up having a few beers and re-activated my okcupid account. This morning, the more sober me remembered why I disabled it in the first place.... it's such a waste of time haha. I end up spending 15+ minutes to look over a girls profile while crafting a nice, personal message to her and (literally) only 1 in 10 responds. Half of those are girls who are too nice to just ignore guys and respond to politely decline.
I should've just went to the bar....0 -

Sorry to hear that. If I get a nice message I will always respond at least one time because I know he took the time and effort. It's the "hey sunshine" type lines that I ignore.0 -
Well I think I take the cake for lame Friday nights! I did a search on match got depressed watched a movie and fell asleep halfway through! Wow typed out like that makes it sound even worse.
At my age 38 most of my friends are married and while I don't mind going out by myself I just didn't feel like it last night.0
