Menu tasting tips?

I have my menu tasting on Wednesday. It is all Italian foods (I am super excited!), but I am trying to eat low carb/high protein. I feel like I need to know that everything that I am serving to my guests is freaking delicious, but I really don't want to overdo it. Does anyone have any tips or been in this situation before? The fiance thinks I should just smile and enjoy it

We just did our tasting last Thursday. I tried a little bit of everything but for things like our risotto I only tried 1 or 2 bites. Also, eat before you go so you're less likely to chow down on all the delicious carbs. Remember you don't need to eat an entire plate of food just because they give it to you. Have fun!0

I would recommend using the tasting as a cheat meal. Obviously - don't eat everything (portion-wise) that they give you, but maybe half of what you would normally eat. Then, if you are still feeling guilty, just make sure you work twice as hard in the gym with your cardio output.0
