I am really starting to enjoy trail riding and I realized I dont have a first aid kit made up. What is in your barn first aid kit?

the barn's is big...my trail/hunt one is portable and small. Vet wrap, 4x4, gauze, clean towel, bute, banamne paste, thermometer, stethescope, betadine, surgical soap, duct tape, quilted leg wraps, elastic wraps, dmso, antibiotic ointment, saline solution that I can squirt (contact variety)...that's all I can remember...

Yes.. Banamine, thats what I need to get. I am making one up to keep with the truck - for people and for the horses.

I don't really have one for people...But for the horses, I have a little container with:

    -Betadine
    - Wound cleanser that I can squirt
    - Triple antibiotic + pain killer ointment
    - Furazone
    - Vetrap
    - Sore No More gel
    - gauze and cotton pads
    - Duct tape

and of course all kinds of leg wrapping materials.

Most of that kit can be used for humans too, in a pinch ;)
