Anyone else thing the warm up is the worst part of Insanity workouts? It's 10 min non stop! I def take breaks during this between rounds.

Yeah. I tried to go all the way thru everything today....no breaks. Didn't work out too well, but I got more work in than last week.

I have to do a warm-up for the warmup hahaha...I do 2 minutes of slower jogging, butt kicks, jumping jacks, then stretch for 3 minutes - then I'm ready for the Insanity warmup. I find that really helps my lower half not tighten up like crazy during the warmup! Love it though!

Yep. I usually do the first and third sets circuits and grab a drink in the second so I can get through the rest of the workout!

I'll be very happy when I can get through the whole of it without stopping too long.

I find the stretching part more annoying with the stupid bit where you're on one leg and do the in and outs. Feels more like a workout than a stretch.

I remember when I first saw the infomercial & the guy says " I was about ready to die and Shaun T says thats the warm up.". I always laugh about that every time I do it, It's freakin hard. This is my 6th time doing Insanity & only now can I do it without stopping. The month 2 warm up is a lot harder but for some reason it seems to not hurt as bad. My calve always hurt really bad doing the warm up. Must be those butt kicks.

I hate jumping jacks with a passion and I think that's part of why I don't like it. The warm up in cardio power and resistance I like a lot better becase power jacks I'm ok with! Does feel good when you are all done though!

Most of the workouts so far (I'm on week 3) have warm-up and stretching finishing at the 20 minute mark of a 40 minute workout. I love that. I love that I'm already halfway done when the workout starts. Getting through the warm up is challenging, but I have no problem finishing it. I still take a few extra seconds of rest in the thick of the workout, especially during anything with push-ups!
