Thought I'd start a thread for those of you that may be riding solo or in a group to one of the many events this year. Post where you are, where you're going. Maybe some of us can hook up and ride together or meet. Be nice to get local info from a local. Post where you're at and where you may be going this year.

Hometown: I'm in Portland Oregon. If you get down my way, be happy to feed you some good BBQ. Share a drink and/or a cigar.
Rides:
- Good Vibrations in Keizer/Salem, Oregon area in June.
- Street Vibrations in Reno/Tahoe, Going to be there with several buddies from 9/19 thru 9/22. Going to be stopping in Klamath Falls on the way down (9/18) and the way back (9/23).
Those are the only two that I am already set up for, but looking for a couple other runs in Washington, Oregon, Northern California this summer.

I am in Palatka, FL. The next big thing coming up is of course bike week in Daytona! Unfortunately I am having a knee replaced so won't be riding, but sure will be down there for the parties! We are doing a coast ride next weekend, may be my last one for awhile
Starting in St Augustine down to Titusville to Dixie Crossroads, best shrimp in the US!

Hi! I'm from Hamilton, Ontario - I am looking forward to the riding season and getting a bit more in shape before.
The big trip this year is from here to Santa Monica and Route 66 back.
AND - should you be in my area - I am always looking to make new acquaintenances!!

Deals Gap (summer), NC Highlands (late spring)
I also ride the Wester NC/Eastern TN mountains quite a bit. If anybody is passing through the area let me know and if possible I'll catch up for a curve or two!

we just got back from the Keys - good ride. just avoid the turnpike extension at Homestead. OMG - 6 lanes of crazy people, not caring if they run you over or not! I prefer not being in the masses also. been there, done that etc.... don't need to do it again.0 -

My golf buddies have the tradition of a week in Sunriver, OR the week before labor day. One of the guys rides and he and I are planning to send our clubs in one of the cages and ride down. On the way home I'd likely spend a night with my brother in Oregon City. If that offer of a cigar is still good I'd love to stop by and say hello.
I'm also looking at a two week run to Milwaukee around the middle of September. Those plans aren't yet solid but I've got a lot of vacation time to burn.0 -
In Aurora, Colorado. Husband & I are riding to Glenrock, Wyoming for Hogfest sponsored by Wyoming Central Abate in late June. My family lives there, and it's always a good time. In July, we're riding to Yellowstone. Hit me up if you're interested in joining us. Other than that, we ride with friends locally on the spur of the moment.0

I am going to be rafting the Deschutes the first week of September. Then I will be making the Reno Run from 9/18 thru 9/24. Pretty packed month, but if you're in the area and I am to, would love to host you to a cigar and a little JD, if you're so inclined. Fire up the BBQ, too, if you can stay for dinner.

No organized rides (apart from home area) this year. BUT planning a trip back to MD,VA and NY to visit my husband's relatives and good friends (and deliver his parent's ashes to their birth places in IN and WV). Will take our bikes for some periodic rides as the mood fits.0

I hail from just outside of Philadelphia PA. I'm a co-organizer of a local meetup group (www.meetup.com/kickstandsup), and we do lots of local and long distance rides. We have over 500,000 group riding miles logged since our group was formed.
I am currently sidelined due to an accident in March, but am getting back in the saddle on borrowed rides while my Road King is being repaired.
My only planned ride outside of the area so far is to the Outer Banks in the middle of June. When the RK is ready that may change though... 0 -
I'm from Vermont and will be headed to Bike Week in Laconia NH, the Warrensburg Rally in Warrensburg NY, Americade in Lake George NY, and the Crossroads Rally in Waterbury VT ... would love to meet up with anyone traveling this way.

I'm originally from St. Louis. My niece was the ambassador for Bikers for Babies for 2 years. I've done that run a few times. Good stuff. I've spent a lot of time on MO roads; some of the best IMHO.0
