Just wondering is anyone still doing their Jillian Michaels dvds now that your pregnant. Can you make modifications or is all that jumping around safe. I've been active up till now doing the dvd's about 4 times per week.

I haven't been doing Jillian Michaels, but do Turbo Jam about twice weekly and Chalean Extreme three times weekly. I suppose Turbo Jam would be similar to your workouts. I just try not to let my body go anaerobic, and do the easier option when available (marching instead of running, tapping instead of jumping jacks).0

I just found out I am pregnant but planned on working out during so I did some planning ahead. I read a book by Lindsey Brin called "How to Excercise When You're Expecting". It has some really great information! She also has a website: momsintofitness.com and produced excercise videos for each trimester and a boot camp for after! I bought the set and also another one by Summer Sanders so I could have some variety. The main concern with excercising while pregnant is you don't want to get your heart rate up too high and decrease oxygen to the baby. I also have used Jilian DVD's and probably won't use the cardio sections of some of them because it's pretty intense! So there are definitley DVD's out there specifically for pregnant ladies that give modifications for when you're feeling great and not so great! Hope some of this was helpful and you find the work outs that work best for you0
