This guy must have been smooth if she let him stay over after the first date.

    This goes to show no matter how much you get to know a person over the internet, use common sense and get to know them in person before you invite them into your life!

    Justice is stupid:
    "On top of that, Januszewski never disclosed he was a registered sex offender, according to the lawsuit."
    Man: "Hello, I am a registered sex offender just in case you are wondering." :smokin:
    Woman: "Ermmm... ok"

    Then:
    "At one point, they agreed he would spend a night at the woman’s home in Aurora, Thomas said. The woman’s lawsuit says she invited him to stay over after they agreed to meet in person and their conversation continued late into the night.
    Both “agreed that nothing would happen” when he stayed over, according to the suit."
    * facepalm * Really? :huh:

    You attract the kind of people you are apparently (stupid attracts stupid).

    Conclusion: everyone is stupid! :laugh:

    Just don't look for all of them near your home, it may be a little scary

    Fwiw a friend on here told me that many of those lists one can access are not reliable.
    I have no idea if that is true but would suggest checking with law enforcement as to the accuracy of any.

    I feel bad for the girl...but geez...there has to be some personal responsibility here. Why in the heck would she have him stay over when she did??

    Nah... Just ask him "Oh by the way, are you a registered sex offender?". :noway:

    and be cautious if the response is, "Registered? No!"

    Law enforcement can't tell you unless you call the court the charges went through. That's public record, but nothing else would be. I google the CRAP out of anyone I am going to meet, but then I just really have to rely on my gut. So far it's not steered me wrong **fingers crossed**.

    registered sex offender or not, that was a dumb move to let some one (doesnt matter if it's male or female) she doesn't know stay in her house overnight
