Monthly goals...

I have been doing this for myself since I started losing weight on January 2nd! I'm glad to join a like minded group! April has been hard for me. i plateaued this month and FINALLY moved the scale a bit. I weigh in at 176.5 and my goal for April was 173. I don't think I'll make it but I DID make progress so I am happy for that! My May goal is 168. I am a motivated counter but I hate exercise. I have to do more than just walking... I am hoping the weather will finally be nice enough to ride my bike for at least a half hour a day in addition to my walking. Anyway- looking forward to doing this together!

    Oh, I just started using this site. I was using fitday.com... but I prefer this. I started out at 210 on January 2nd. I'm making good progress... I just don't want to get discouraged now!

    Hopefully this group can encourage you and me both! I also hate exercise! I think it's more the effort to go outside into the cold to get to the gym more than the actual exercise though - how silly! I must do some exercise...tomorrow! Haha.

    Hahaha... I hear you. I hate the gym. Really, really hate it. I like the Leslie Sansone walking dvd's... my problem is that I am SOOO lazy... AND I would rather be outdoors... Once spring REALLY hits.. even summer- I love being outdoors. I'm really hoping to meet my goal. Thanks for responding!

    What kind of ACTIVITY doesn't really feel like "exercise" to you because you enjoy doing it? Make THAT the core of your calorie burning. it might be dancing, or biking, or something in a group, or something on your own. Only you know what it is :happy:

    Something that help ME get moving in the first place was to resolve to PLAY 30 minutes a day on my Wii Fit Plus. I'll be watching to see what you thought of the article :flowerforyou:
