I stopped smoking 2 weeks ago with using the patch. It was fine until I drank alcohol, got stressed, got mad, went to a bar, hung out with someone that still smokes... GRRR.... I lost my sanity last Sunday and I'm supprised I'm still married. LOL Thank goodness for a supportive husband. This is definetly the hardest thing I've ever done next to giving birth to my children. :)

Keep trying! A slip doesnt have to equal a fall someone once told me... I haven't smoked in 30 days as of today!! (Thanks to nasty Chantix..).. I have found that I have had to change more to this addiction than just quiting smoking... I can't be around people who smoke for long periods of time, no more coffee for a while (staying away from triggers of my addiction to nicotine..).. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

AWESOME!! Good for you. :) Yeah I did not want to try the Chantix... I have heard bad things about it. I have an addictive personality so I knew when I decided to quit smoking I would fall in to something else so... I decided to chose a healthy lifestyle and to start running. Coffee was never a trigger for me but hanging with friends at the bar, car rides, and smoking after meals are big ones for me. Thanks for the support. :)

NO KIDDING! lucky for my husband, he work out of town and misses most of my 'snap days'. I'm mostly just more relieved when hes here on the weekend. ive just stepped up my gym routine to keep me on track. try to figure out what time of day you get the freakiest about smoking. mine more in the morning, 3 cigarettes with 1/2 pot of coffee sugar and cream before i was going anywhere. no i put my son on the bus, i stopped drinking coffee and as soon as hes off, my daughter and i head to the gym. she goes into daycare there and i take my time, work out, sauna, shower, pretty myself up for the day (uninterrupted!) i tried to keep busy as much as possible. i also started trying to workout at home in the evenings after the kids were in bed(another big smoker time for me) and go to bed earlier. that way i didnt have to fight the cravings anymore! just some suggestions!

I bet its hard if you are home during the day. When I get bored, that's when it get difficult. :)
  • I'm with the rest, don't let one slip up turn into oh crap I'm a smoker again. Hang in there and know that you'll be so much healthier as a non smoker.
