Hi Everyone! I'm new to this group and I love this post! I decided to come up with 10 things for me to do for myself and by myself which is almost a foreign concept in my mind anymore!
1. Build a website
2. Take pictures every day
3. Swim (just moved to a place with a pool) without feeling self-conscious about my body
4. Walk my dogs
5. Create my own jewelry
6. Finish the crochet projects I've started
7. Go outside and read
8. Work on a patio garden
9. Pamper myself ( facials, nails, long bath with candles/music, etc...)
10. Meditate/Sit still in the quiet
Wow! That was MUCH harder than I thought it would be... I think it would be beneficial for me to actually do these things to remember what it was like to put myself as a priority. I am going to transition this into a 'to do for me' list that I need to complete until taking care of myself isn't something I have to think about.
Great exercise and post! Very eye-opening for me that I don't do much for me anymore!0 -
