Nights shifts :(

It is such a struggle eating well when your on nights. I find the first and last night hard as I am up for so much of the 24 hours. I finished nights this morning and had two breakfasts before I even went to sleep!

It is hard for me on the day after my last shift. I think its easiest to just come home eat a light snack and go take a nap. It helps me alot. Even if I only sleep for 3-4 hours I am not as hungry when I wake up that way and can keep on track.0

I'm trying something new to curb my voracious appetite on nights I work. I'm eating every three hours - something healthy and quick. I've noticed if I don't do this I get incredibly hungry, get off work, and eat everything in the pantry. I'm sick of this cycle and I've put on lots of weight!!!!0

Hi all, I'm new to this group (LPN) and relatively new to MFP (8 days).
I'm doing my first night shift tonight while on MFP diet program .
I've decided to eat my dinner within my allotted calories before I go to work tonight and then bring my " breakfast" with me ( probably eat it around 4am) and 2 snacks (oranges), which will go into tomorrows food diary.
Hopefully this will work...its kindda tough0
