Hey!

I'm new to the group. My daughter is almost 11 weeks old, and I started back to MFP about a week ago to start loosing this baby weight slow and steady. I've just started doing Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30 DVD. It pretty much kicks my butt - which is good. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else has done or is doing the same thing. Let me know especially if you've gotten some results. My goal is to do it 4 or 5 times a week although I might need to do week 1 for more than a week. lol

Good for you and congratulations! I haven't tried ripped in 30, but I have done the 30ds on and off. When I'm more consistent with it, I see results pretty quickly, but even lately.. during this hellish finals period, I've noticed increased definition in my quads. Shorts FTW this summer!

Let us know how it goes for you, and best of luck!

I just started this workout as well. Its pretty tough. I've only done it 2 days and I'm still pretty sore. Congrats on your baby :)

    Thanks for responding you guys!

@ wheezy - I agree it is tough to do the video 5-6 times a week like she asks. It gets me a little miffed that the DVD says it only takes 20 minutes when the total workout (including warm up and cool down takes 38 (I've timed it!). Still 40 minutes for exercise a day isn't too much to ask. I like to get it in while my little girl is napping.

@ rhiann - After the first two days of doing the video I literally felt like I couldn't move without hurting. I was so sore! Its a good thing. I restarted this week and wasn't nearly as sore after my last session. I think I was just super out of shape. Let me know how it goes!
