March 24th sounds good to me!
  • Depends where and when. Probably not during the weekend unless it is really local to me.

Am I too late for the meetup? Did it happen or are you still discussing dates and venues?
  • If it happened I don't know about it :-)

I didn't realise anyone was reading!
    Lets try again!
How is May 27th for everyone? I will check back for the replies this time :-)

is the CBD ok for you?
  • I don't think I would come that far just because of the time it would require to get in there if I took the train. I could rive but parking would be difficult. What do other people think? Is anyone free weekdays?

    what is close to you?
and sure weekdays are ok for me :)
just as long as I get to work before 9:30 that is
  • Maybe somewhere around Doncaster? I don't know where everyone else is though. Weekdays would need to be during school hours. Weekends, I could do most times. I'll private message you my location.

    Hi folks.
CBD sounded good to me - central location and all that.
But...I have a car so can travel the 40km(?) from Tulla to Doncaster on a weekend if needed.
School hours on a weekday in Doncaster? No way. I work full time in the CBD. Enjoy your brunch.
    Sandra.
  • So looking at the map it seems somewhere around Northcote would be right in the middle of all of us?

Doncaster is okay with me. It's near a freeway which makes the drive easier.

Back to Sunday May 27th, for brunch?

Can I suggest Grill'd in Westfield SC, Doncaster? http://www.grilld.com.au/nutrition
I've never been there, but just thought I'd make a reasonably healthy suggestion to get things moving while the 3 of us are still looking in. We may even get others interested if we have a plan.

Other suggestions? Time? 30mins late before "no show" declared?
Even if only one of us turns up, there's good shopping still to be had.

Just realised that grill'd may be in the food hall. Anyone know? Probably not what any of us had in mind...but still - won't have to worry about booking :-)

    its good for me
  • Probably fine for me but I'll confirm closer to the time since it's really close to an exam time.
  • I was at Doncaster today (I'm rather taken with Sumo Salads) and kept an eye out for Grill'd. Grill'd is one of the first shops you come across in the food hall - straight ahead, to the left, behind where the money machines are located by the entry to the food hall. Easy to find.
  • Sorry everyone, the 27th is out for me. How about the Saturday of the weekend before? I think that's the 19th.

19th may is okay with me. I'll economize on the trip and plan on visiting my dad in wantirna south on the same day. Would probably want to head off by 11:30 to get to nursing home to help him with his lunch. Is 10 or 10:30 a good time for brunch? Nothing is set - can work with you on times.

19th is good for me too :) the time is not a problem for me either
  • How about 10am on the 19th then?

    Done!
Meeting Up: Is everyone okay with meeting in the food court then, near Grill'd? Might make individual food choices a bit easier - grill'd, sumo salad, even byo wheetbix :-)
Perhaps someone can offer to bring something "standout & recognisable" and reserve the myfitnesspal table with it?

    Sandra.
  • I'm happy to bring something to put on the table to aid identification. Let me think on it and I'll let you all know what is will be! :-)

PT??? I'm not good with acronyms. Rather than risk being late, you could pick a time that suits. I can fit in with you.

is 11am ok? didn't you have to get to your father's nursing home? otherwise 10:30 is better than 10 :)
