I started myfitness pal two weeks ago after discovering it from my niece. It is so great fro accountablity, and that is what i need the most. BUT.... I also need more friends to go on this journey, in other words, I need some more support..
I have my daughter, niece and brother also using this, but I would love to find some people my age ( I guess my friends either don't need this or think they don't).

Count me in as a friend. I'm new and friends and groups were really important to my weight loss several years ago on CK. Lucky you to have others working on weight loss, too.0

Add me to your friends. We all need support and pats on the back for things we accomplish.0

Please add me as well. I need some support and encouragement to get through my journey. I want to lose about 61 lbs and finding it very hard to keep on track, with work and family life.0

Hi, I just joined this group today. I will be 50 on July 25 and looking for people in this age group. Feel free to add me as a friend to help support and motivate each other.0

55+ actually. And 50???? try over 100.
Every lb is a challenge and hard fought. I actually didn't start here till I'd lost over 40 lbs. and then because my bariatric specialist wanted me to.
I didn't realise at the time that the extra accountability would be a big help. It is. I'm glad that I did what I was told and gave MFP a try. In fact, I think I'll have to stay and try not to make it my next big addiction.0 -
It is easy to spend a lot of time here, but it can really be worth it! Welcome!
I'd be happy to have more friends!0 -

I am new to this group too. Looking for people around my age to go on this weight loss journey with.
I am 63. I do not have diabetes yet, but my father ended up with Type 2 Diabetes and ended up on insulin quite fast after being diagnosed. I don't want that happening to me, so am on a quest to lose 50 pounds.
I am a retired nurse. The last 5 years of my nursing career, I worked nights. During those 5 years of nights, I gained nearly 10 pounds a year. I am hoping MFP and all you good people can help me get this extra weight off.0 -
Hi---I have been working on same 15 pounds this month, over 100 to go! I turn 50 next month. I log in every day, if you need a friend, you can add me! I WILL look at your food diary --lol!0
