I know of some good restaurants, but I would really like some places husband and I could go to, to just have a drink, listen to some live music (preferably not too loud so we can still converse). Just some chill places to hang out. I used to live in Atlanta, and there were all sorts of places like that, all over. But I don't really know of any here. I'd probably want to avoid uptown due to the parking situation.

Anyone know of any places like that? I've googled before without much success.

    I'd be interested in places as well....I rarely go out and I am too old (imo) for the "club scene" and I dislike them anyways, cause I just stand around lol....and like to just chill out and unwind. I've been here for 2 1/2 years and i'm not too familar with places.

    Have you ever tried a place called The Wine Vault? They usually have live music on the weekends at the one by me (in the University area).

    I use Yelp a lot to find new places.

    Vintner Wine Market near the arboretum has a great wine & beer selection with music on the weekends or some weeknights.

    Soul Gastrolounge off Central..

    Pewter Rose off South..

    My brain is blanking..
