Hey I'm doing fine healing up nicely! I did have a 2006 Harley Street Glide but I wrecked 2 weeks ago today! I'm still up in the air if I'm going to buy another bike or not! I'm not afraid to ride or anything like that. The bike was a left over from a much more prosperous time in my life before the housing market took a dump! So the payment was a lot to swallow every month plus insurance. This wreck might be a blessing financially for my wife and I. I'm getting a fair settlement that will allow me to buy an used full size pickup truck. On the bright side my dad has the same bike as me but his is a 2008 and i can ride it anytime I want! With out the payments!
  • sorry- i didn't realize that you were the one that posted earlier that wrecked his bike. I hope you are healing well. Had good friends in a wreck a month or so ago - a really nice couple, each on their own bikes. He is going to get another, she says she will never ride again. To each his own! Also, your bike doesn't have to be a harley. If you aren't sure you still want to ride, pick up a used something else and see how it goes! good luck,

hey haybusa owner here, yes im compensating lol, did pick up a 2005 SV650 (halfabusa) to play with a project bike, -cheers-Ty
  • I looked at haybusa when I got my Duc - the insurance company wanted more than the bike payment so I went another route. :)

I totally would LOVE a Hayabusa in the garage for all day spirited rides. They're a great bike, it takes a bit of experience to *really* ride one balls to the wall, but they're a great bike!
