Things to do by yourself

I just moved here to Phoenix and I'm getting pretty bored of being home by myself all day while my husband is at work. I can't work yet because the visa I have doesn't allow me to work currently. Any ideas on things to do during the day to keep myself busy?

    Eek and you're in Maricopa. I lived there 2 years ago. I would plan on going to the movies a lot, visiting the swimming pools etc. Idk it's something.

    Enjoy the AC? ;) If I didn't have two kiddos to keep me busy, I would be enjoying my hobbies ~ reading, painting, etc, also I'd be working out a hellava lot more!

    Haha, I wish I could. Still 20 though so I can't buy it myself (silly American drinking laws....), my husband would be worried if he was buying me a 40 every couple of days :p

    When my fiance is at work I go work out by myself, play games/read on my kindle fire....but mostly work out....

    I don't have many friends here so I'm stuck at home most of the time....boo!
