Pregnant with twins

Hello, I just started on this site and I am 18 weeks pregnant with twins. I tend to gain way to much during my pregnancies (I have 3 kids), and wanted to make sure I stay active and keep to the recommended weight gain. This pregnancy I am being a surrogate, so I want to get back into shape asap after...I will have no babies to blame for the weight gain.

  • Congrats on your pregnancy. I'm sure you are blessing another family in a special way. I'm right there with you on the sentiment. We are 14 weeks along with our third child. I have gone overboard two other times and regretted the long haul back to my size. I'm still working and trying to fit an hour-long walk into my lunch break at least three times per week. Have you got any particular plans/strategies?

    I have been trying to exercise every day at least a little...I'm afraid if I don't then I will get too tired this summer with the enormous belly I am sure to grow! I walk at least 30 minutes every day, and sometimes an hour if possible....I have been doing a little more strenuous cardio once a week, but I hope to increase that a little.
