Does anyone else feel like they've wasted the past 2 months?

Probably not, because the spreadsheet shows some AWESOME losses!!!

But I'm feeling kind of blah. I've been yo-yo-ing back and forth over the past eight weeks, and I'm still actually a few pounds heavier than when I started. It's incredibly frustrating and I have no one to blame but myself -- lack of dedication, no motivation for exercise, etc.

Add insult to injury, it's less than two moths till the end of the competition and only 12 weeks until my big cottage party... two milestones I wanted to have considerable losses for. I'm trying to remain positive; I can still have some good losses over the next three months. Perhaps not as good as I could have had if I'd pushed harder from the start, but... anytime is a good time to change, right?

Anyway - just a vent. I wish I could get out of this rut!

Looks like I'm gonna have to move there to kick my bestie in the pants!!!
  • You had one thing right there, anytime is a great time to start! Think about all the mile stones after those, holidays with family, new years. There are tons of things to look forward to! And 3 months is plenty of time to get an amazing loss! Plus you'll feel amazing and that's the most important thing!

Do yall have a Planet Fitness there? Its ten dollars a month. Join! Make an effort to go at least four days a week. If you join, you get free personal training. If their trainer there is as awesome as mine is at mine, he will call you an ask you why the HELL you haven't come in that day! I adore it! They have classes you can join, and some awesome cardio machines. Spending the ten bucks a month might help you get motivated to go. I actually LOVE going to the gym, and actually have gotten in the habit of going. When I hit a pleatu, I stayed out of the gym for five days! I missed the gym so much! LOL.. You still have time to get some results in before the challenge is over.....and the summer :) Get to it!

I started this competition out pretty well, and I was SO excited about my losses and effort!! But the past few weaks my life has been so crazy, with finals, moving from college home for the summer, visiting my boyfriend at his college, etc. And I have completely let myself go!
I am picking it back up today...and I guess I am just nervous that because I am at home now, where I can't necessarily control everything, I will give in :(
So I guess here's to hoping I can stick it out!!!!

I wish I did... that sounds like a great deal. My best bet here is GoodLife, with $40+ per month and super expensive personal trainers... I'm a broke student so not quite up to that. I'm trying to stay motivated with videos at home, but having to do it myself sometimes isn't so successful, haha. I just discovered a boot camp though, so I'm going to try to start going to that 2-3 times a week. Best part is that it's run by a heart and lung foundation so all the donations you make go right to a great cause.

Not the last two months but def the last week! No motivation, hardly worked out, I know it's not going to be a good day on the scale tomorrow. I'm disappointed in myself. Trying to turn it around this week.
