Hey All! I'm one of those new Crossfit junkies who happens to be 5 months pregnant as well. I don't know if it is operator error or what but how do I transfer my WOD to the diary? Any workout I search for isn't in the database. For example I did Farmer's Carry, Knee Ups and Box Jumps tonight in our WOD. Thanks in advance for any help :)

I wear a heart-rate monitor to calculate calories burned. I created a generic cardio exercise I call "Crossfit" and then I usually write notes about the WOD.

I do the same thing, wear HRM and then log under Cardio as CrossFit. Sometimes the WODs get special names like "CrossFit - death by burpees WOD" or "CrossFit - where the burpees were the easiest thing in the WOD." I also make notes of what was in the WOD in the Exercise notes section as well as in my crazy insane workout excel file.

I had the same question when I first started MFP, and the advice I was given was to log as Circuit Training - General which isn't that accurate. I would definitely do with what the previous folks responded - the HRM.

I don't bother logging them here. I log them in beyondthewhiteboard.com, only 3$/month and has a great database and charts to see your progress in lifts, girls, heroes, etc. I just set my calorie intake high for activity level and then don't worry about eating back calories. Keeps it simple.
