Another day, another workout! lol I got mine in this morning, not happy with my pace, but it will come back.

    Good morning! It is awesome that you able to get that workout in, Hodder, so be proud! I will be lunching with Jillian AGAIN! I have found that I have much more stamina at 11:30 AM then I do at 4:30 AM! I feel like I put more into the workout. I hurt my back during the shred and it is so stiff in the morning. No amount of stretching seems to help but being up a few hours does. I guess whatever works!!

    Take it easy with your back - wouldn't want you to injure it! I have an old back injury, and when I started Shred It with Weights there were days I could barely move. I remember taking 2, maybe 3, days off because my husband didn't want me to injure it anymore. Now, (and it's just a month or so later), I still get a little sore, but nothing really bad. All in all, I'd say it's the best my back has felt in years! It's amazing how quickly our bodies build strength and adapt :)

    And I think it's great that you have a lunch date everyday! I meet Jillian in the mornings, because it's done and out of the way then. I also find that if I wait until after I eat breakfast, I get a bad stomach lol. Jillian makes me sick! :laugh:

    I have started shouting obscenities at my tv. Nobody can hear me at lunch time! At 4:30 I have to whisper them b/c everyone is home and asleep! Jillian is mean!
    I am amazed, too at the way our bodies strengthen! This is not a huge victory, but I could never start our pull cord lawn mower until Jillian. I had to wait on my husband to start it for me, and I couldn't stop while mowing b/c I could'nt start it back! Now I start it every time after 1-2 pulls! I love it! I HATE not being able to do something strength-wise!

    Hi Girls! I've taken 3 weeks off, :frown: because of our busy schedule. I really wish I was a morning person. I did get a quick NMTZ in on Sunday - did circuits 1-4. Back to the full NMTZ tonight, another rest day tomorrow as my niece graduates and then back to it hard on Friday through the weekend. I find that I'm really missing feeling sore - never thought I'd say that!!

    I'm going to have to start wearing ear plugs when I work out...all the cracking and popping from my joints is so loud it's starting to hurt my ears! I never knew hips could pop the way mine do when doing those stupid pike crunches!! LOVE getting older :bigsmile:

    Liv, watch out for your back! Take a rest day if you need to. I know I feel much better after mine. :) Also, I completely agree about stamina...so much better in the afternoon. :)

    Hey all! Glad to see you guys keeping up with it and starting back up again. I've totally been slacking, but I've been getting back into again the past few days. :)

    Got my shred on, not so sore and I definitely have way more energy this time around. I can do almost all of the unmodified moves and only have to take a quick breather in between circuits. But I'm still sweating and huffing and puffing, so I'm not ready to move on yet. :)

    Lilpe, your bootcamp doesn't sound like slacking!! I think we'll let you off with ignoring Jillian for a couple of days lol.

    kaylyngt, I don't think it has anything to do with age. I'm 29, and I've popped and cracked with every workout so far. My knees were the worst in Shred It, and then when I started 6 Week Six-Pack, I was cracking and popping everywhere! Shoulders, knees, and my hips were painful during the "spiders" (a plank variation). Now, I seldom hear the cracks and pops, I'm hoping it's because I'm building strength lol. Maybe yours will lessen too :)

    dsengel01, I always say, today is a new day :) It's never too late, or too early, to start something (again).
