What does everyone think of this season thus far? A lot of stuff is different from the book, but it's still an excellent season IMO. I only read the first two books so I'm not sure if they are bringing some of the third book into this? Like the dragons being stolen, that didn't happen in the book and Lady Stark setting the Kingslayer free with Brienne, Jon Snow getting captured ..
I can't wait for the battle episode starting next week though!
Tyrion is still my favorite character and Cersei I'm still loving to hate. Arya is such a good little actress - love her character as well.
Theon's character I was so up and down on - even throughout the book. I liked him, hated him, felt sorry for him, sympathized for him, and then it was back to hating him again .. lol.
Anyway, don't have a lot of time to get into the depth of this season, but I think it's going rather well and can't wait to see how they end it.

They are starting to bring in story lines from the third book (which in my opinion is the best book, so I'm looking forward to season 3&4 big time). It does look like they have been saving their budget for the final two episodes which look like it could be epic.
As a book reader I haven't had a real problem with the changes that have been made to the story (sure I would have liked to have seen them done in the way the book did) I understand that there's a budget and time constraints. The overall product that HBO is putting out is worth it.
I did hear that they are adding a new character next season that wasn't in the book...

I haven't watched the show, but the dragons don't get stolen in the books. I'm guessing they just added that to make the story of Daenarys more interesting...0
