After the elation of seeing the Hammers being promoted (sorry to any Pool fans) I went into my club's web site today to discover that my season ticket for next season will cost me £735 (roughly $1,176).

I will pay it, and yes I know there are more expensive clubs to support, but I reserve the right to ***** about it.
