If you have Google Earth on your computer (and there are probably other ones as well) you can draw a path with the maps tools and it will tell you how far it is in whatever units (miles, feet, etc). You just draw the line on the map where you walked. Very nice tool. I use just for that reason.

I'm in! I walk from my job to home every work day, that's about 1 hour at 2.9mph.0

I did 3 miles today0

I walked 4.4miles(3.2mph) today and burned more than 220 calories(can't find the 3.2mph entry). Way to go!0
